The cave length is 17 meters and its height is 4 meters.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-252.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-228135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-252.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-252-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-252-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-252-610x458.jpg 610w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to archaeologists, there is evidence that this place was a sanctuary during the Thracian times. There are assumptions that there are stone steps below the cave. If these stairs are found, they will be able to prove that one of Europe&#8217;s earliest shrines, visited by the Thracians in the 5th century BC, was located here. The whole hill is supposed to be a huge Thracian sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-258.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-228139\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-258.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-258-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-258-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.myfreshes.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9-258-610x458.jpg 610w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The folk tradition in the village has preserved old legends and songs about a dragon who lived in the cave near the fort. The dragon fell in love with the pretty Rusali girl and soon abducted her into his inaccessible cave. It has since been called the Russian Hole, and the entire rocky hill &#8211; the Russian Hill.
